
Robert Nygren, LLB
Robert Nygren has a diverse international business career and legal background with extensive experience leading both private and public companies in life science, agritech, cleantech, and fintech industries throughout Canada, the US, the UK and China. Robert co-founded the ETC3 Technology Centre located in the South Research Campus of The University of British Columbia, which provides office and lab facilities and strategic consulting services for financings, business plans and organizational structuring.
Robert recently co-founded PanGenomic Health, which is developing a biomarker monitoring system for patients being treated with natural medicines targeting anxiety and depression. PanGenomic Health is Canada's first publicly-traded benefit corporation, which embeds public benefit objectives in the governance structure. Previously, Robert co-founded HAVN Life Sciences, a producer of naturally-derived psilocybin for research studies in Canada and the US. He has also led several private and publicly-traded technology companies in the financial services and manufacturing sectors.
Robert holds a Bachelor of Law from Western University and was called to the Bars of Ontario, British Columbia and California.
